We spent a recent warm and beautiful September afternoon exploring a nearby apple orchard. Max did an excellent job hunting softball sized apples. Lilyana loved reaching for the tall ones on Daddy's shoulders. The best part? Why, eating the apples fresh off the tree, of course. I always forget how incredibly tasty a homegrown Michigan apple is! We also had time to get lost in the corn maize...a bit tiring for our bug...but we made it out with smiles on our faces! :) We enjoyed a delicious afternoon, and who could resist the fresh apple cider and warm doughnuts placed strategically on our way out...certainly not us! :)
