Purple Belt Pride

We've tried for countless years to find Max's sport...one that he's passionate about...that he practices without prodding...that he thoroughly enjoys. He's been such a trooper as we've signed him up for soccer, tennis, (not football:)), basketball, swimming, etc. Tolerated these? Yup! Loved these? Nope! Well I think we finally hit pay dirt...Tae Kwon Doe. He's been going every Wednesday night since January and is really doing well. Just last Wednesday he tested for his first belt and passed with flying colors. We just may have a black belt on our hands sometime in the coming years! Oh, and too bad Lego building isn't an Olympic sport, as he would be a budding gold medalist. :)

Our Birthday Princess

We've spent quite a few weeks celebrating Lilyana's birthday! :) It all began with a Levandoski party with Scott's family a week before the big day. Lily's still not all that into opening presents, but once they were finally opened, she thoroughly enjoyed the insides!! :) She loved dancing with her cousin Audrey...to songs of Mama Mia of course.
Then we were off to Florida to to party with Mickey Mouse. Lily adored the character parade and the show in front of the castle. Even though she is a bit of a chicken, I did get her on Dumbo, and we bounced along with Tigger on the Pooh Bear ride. Because she had a button announcing her special day, she was wished a "Happy Birthday" countless times. It really was special! We ended our day with a Baynum family celebration around a Lily chosen pink Easter egg cake.
Now that we're home, and I think about it, we still have presents for her downstairs that we haven't even gotten to! I guess were off to celebrate again...ha, ha!! Happy Birthday LilyBug! We love you to pieces and can't imagine our life without you in it!!
