One Week and Counting...

We awoke today to snowflakes the size of silver dollars falling from the sky...let's just say Lilyana, Max, and Bear had a great idea to beat the spring snowstorm blues. It also doesn't hurt that we'll be jetting down to warm, sunny Florida in less than a week!! :) We are soooooo ready!!

Sun and Fun

Max was blessed recently to travel with my sister and her friend Julie down to Florida to spend some time with NiNi Dee and Papa. He had a fabulous time! NiNi and Papa treated our boy to the beach, the zoo, an oceanarium, a flea market, a nuclear power plant, a rocket launch, no school, and don't forget the egg whites he had for breakfast every day for 8 days!! :) I'm sure you can understand why he really didn't want to come home! We missed him like CRAZY and are glad that NiNi and Papa did put him on the plane! Welcome home buddy!

Thanks to Lisa, Julie, Mom and Dad who helped make memories that will last a lifetime!

A Date With a Bug

a Lily bug that is! With Max sunnin' and funnin' in Florida, Scott and I decided to whisk our sweetie away for a little just us time. Our first stop was to the gardens to take in the butterflies. Lily was a bit taken aback at first, but quickly learned to spot the butterflies with ease. She never wandered too far that she couldn't launch herself into our arms at a moment's notice. From there we drove to the mall for a little shopping (Scott so LOVED this part , but was a very good sport). Lily built a bear (actually a Hello Kitty), browsed and loved the Disney store, and rode the carousel with Dad. What a wonderful day we had with our sweet princess!
